The Green Tea & Red Currant Seasonal Facial is a limited edition 45-minute Sothys oxygenating treatment available at Facial Impressions in Avalon Beach from 1 September to 11 October 2026. It uses green tea and red currant extracts to help clear away the dullness of winter and restore radiance, and costs $189.

Twice a year, Sothys Paris releases a Seasonal Treatment built around a pairing of botanical and fruit extracts. This spring it's green tea and red currant — one an established antioxidant, the other rich in vitamin C — combined with an oxygenating and detoxifying complex.
Sothys builds a different formula for each half of the year: minerals in the autumn and winter edition to protect and strengthen, and vitamins C, PP and provitamin B5 in the spring and summer one, to support repair and cellular vitality. The fruit extracts come from Sothys' own organic farm in central France.
The concept behind it is chronobiology: the idea that skin has its own rhythms, and that supporting it in step with the season it's moving into works better than fighting whatever it's just been through. After a winter of heating, wind and less daylight, most skin arrives in September looking a little tired. This treatment is designed for exactly that moment.
Made with a Paris tea house
For this edition Sothys has worked with Compagnie & Co, a Parisian tea maison established in 1848, to blend the green tea and red currant note that runs through the whole collection.
It's the reason the scent is so distinctive — properly like tea, rather than a generic fruity fragrance. Come in and smell it; that's genuinely the fastest way to understand this one.

- 05 Peel-off mask The signature Sothys step, cool and completely enveloping — and while it sets, your hands and arms are massaged with the limited edition body lotion.
- 06 Radiance treatment The finishing layer that leaves skin looking lit from within.

How long is the Green Tea & Red Currant Seasonal Facial?
The treatment runs for 45 minutes and costs $189. If you add the Glysalac Peel Booster and a 15-minute back massage as part of the Complete Ritual, allow around 70 minutes in total. We recommend booking a little extra time so you're not rushing afterwards.
How is this different from a regular facial?
Sothys Seasonal Treatments are limited edition formulations released twice a year, built around seasonal botanical and fruit extracts. This spring edition pairs green tea and red currant with an oxygenating complex, and is designed specifically to lift the dullness skin carries out of winter.
Is there any downtime?
No. You may look a little flushed for a short time after the massage and mask, which settles quickly. Skin generally looks brighter straight away. If you add the Glysalac Peel Booster, you may notice mild tightness for a few hours, and we'll talk you through aftercare on the day.
Can I book this if I've never been to the clinic before?
Absolutely, and it's one of the nicest ways to start. If you're unsure what your skin needs, book a Skin Consultation instead and we'll assess your skin properly before recommending a treatment plan. Skin analysis isn't included in this facial as it's a separate service.

The Green Tea & Red Currant Seasonal Facial is available at Facial Impressions from 1 September to 11 October 2026, and the limited edition homecare collection is available while stock lasts. Once the season ends, both are gone until the next release.
