HIFU Face Lift

HIFU — High Intensity Focused Ultrasound — is a non-invasive treatment that uses precisely targeted ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. Over the weeks following treatment, the skin gradually firms, lifts and tightens as new collagen forms — without needles, incisions or downtime.

At Facial Impressions, Kim specialises in HIFU for facial lifting, contouring and skin refinement. We offer both the deeper Facial Uplift (targeting 3.0mm–4.5mm) and the HIFU Plump (1.5mm) for surface rejuvenation, fine lines and pigmentation — often combined for comprehensive results.

HIFU Facial Uplift

The HIFU Facial Uplift targets the deeper structural layers of the skin — at 3.0mm and 4.5mm depth — where collagen production and muscle support originate. Ultrasound energy is delivered in precise micro-shots, each triggering the body's natural repair response and stimulating the formation of new collagen beneath the surface.

A full HIFU Facial Uplift delivers up to 6,000 micro-shots across the treatment area. The skin gradually firms and tightens in the weeks that follow as the new collagen matrix develops, with results continuing to improve over several months.

Treatment areas include the forehead, brow line, cheeks, chin, jowls and neck. Most clients notice an initial change immediately, with the most visible improvement typically seen at 6 to 10 weeks. Improvement continues as new collagen develops for up to 6 months following treatment.

Areas That Can Be Treated

Forehead — lifts and firms
Brow line — lifts and tightens
Cheeks — firms and plumps
Chin and jaw — sculpts and tightens
Jowls — firms and lifts
Neck — tightens and smooths
Nasolabial folds — softens

A consultation with Kim is recommended before your first HIFU Facial Uplift. She will assess your skin, discuss your goals and recommend the most appropriate treatment plan for you.

HIFU Plump

The HIFU Plump targets the upper layers of the dermis at a shallower depth of 1.5mm — addressing fine lines, surface texture and skin tone rather than deeper structural lifting. As the ultrasound energy stimulates collagen regeneration at this level, the skin's surface becomes more refined and even, with improved radiance and reduced pore size over time.

The HIFU Plump is particularly well suited to fine lines around the eyes, lips and forehead, as well as pigmentation concerns and scarring. It can be performed as a standalone treatment or combined with the HIFU Facial Uplift for a comprehensive approach across multiple depths.

Results are typically visible within 2 to 4 weeks and the HIFU Plump can be repeated every 4 to 8 weeks to maintain skin condition, depending on your skin type and age.

What HIFU Plump Addresses

Fine lines around eyes, lips and forehead
Skin plumping, firming and toning
Surface texture refinement and pore reduction
Pigmentation
Scarring including acne scarring

HIFU Plump can be combined with the HIFU Facial Uplift in a single appointment for comprehensive results across both surface and deeper skin layers. Ask Kim about combination treatment options at your consultation.

Who Is HIFU Suited To?

HIFU is generally suited to clients who have noticed a softening or loosening of the skin — a lowered brow line, less defined jaw, or skin that has begun to lose its firmness. Clients in their late thirties and older with mild to moderate skin laxity are typically good candidates.

HIFU is also appropriate for clients who want to take a proactive approach to skin ageing before significant laxity develops, or who are looking to maintain results following cosmetic procedures.

A consultation with Kim is always the first step. She will assess your skin, discuss your medical history and goals, and advise whether HIFU is appropriate for you. Not all clients are suited to HIFU — contraindications include active skin conditions, certain implants and pregnancy.
