Skin Needling.
56 active ingredients.

The Pink Treatment is a professional skin needling facial that delivers a concentrated serum of 56 active ingredients directly into the skin. The result is visibly healthier, more radiant skin -- with an experience that is as considered and unhurried as every treatment we offer at Facial Impressions.

Unlike conventional skin needling, The Pink Treatment uses the Turtlepin III 0.5mm hollow-pin device, which delivers the serum through the pins directly into the skin as it works -- reaching from the lower epidermis to the upper dermis without anaesthetic -- addressing surface concerns including dull tone, uneven texture, epidermal pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles. The session concludes with a soothing bio-cellulose post-procedure mask and optional LED light therapy.

How The Pink Treatment works

The Pink Treatment uses the Turtlepin III 0.5mm -- a medical-grade, single-use multi-pin delivery device -- to deliver The Pink Solution serum directly into the skin through the hollow pins as it works. At 0.5mm, the device penetrates from the lower layer of the epidermis (0.2 to 0.3mm) to the upper layer of the dermis, reaching exactly where active ingredients are needed most. No anaesthetic cream is required, and the delivery is consistent and controlled with every pass.

The serum itself -- Betterfill 56+ -- contains 56 carefully selected active ingredients formulated to work at the level of the dermis and epidermis simultaneously. Rather than relying on mechanical injury alone to stimulate a response, the treatment delivers these active ingredients precisely where they are needed, supporting the skin's own regeneration, repair and hydration processes from within.

Once the serum has been worked into the skin, the Natural RX Post Procedure Mask is applied -- a bio-cellulose mask clinically formulated for use after dermatological procedures. It immediately calms, hydrates and soothes the skin, and supports recovery while the active ingredients continue to absorb. LED light therapy can be added during this stage to further support cellular healing.

The Pink Treatment · Turtlepin III

The Turtlepin III 0.5mm is a single-use hollow-pin delivery device. Unlike conventional solid microneedle rollers or stamps, the Turtlepin III delivers the Betterfill 56+ serum through the hollow pins directly into the skin as it works -- ensuring the active ingredients are deposited at the correct depth (lower epidermis to upper dermis) rather than remaining on the surface. No anaesthetic cream is required. Combined with the Betterfill 56+ serum, it is a professional facial system used in aesthetic and medical clinics across Australia. Facial Impressions is an authorised Pink Treatment provider.

56 active ingredients

The Betterfill 56+ serum contains 56 active ingredients working across multiple aspects of skin health simultaneously. Key actives include 14 types of neuropeptides, various growth factors, 17 essential amino acids, stem cell culture extract and 10 kinds of multivitamins. Here is what the primary categories do.

Glutathione Supports skin brightening and elasticity. A powerful antioxidant that helps neutralise oxidative stress and contributes to a more even, luminous complexion.
Peptides & Neuropeptides 14 types of neuropeptides support collagen synthesis and the skin's structural framework, contributing to firmer, more resilient skin over time.
Stem Cell Culture Extract Contains various growth factors that activate fibroblast cells, promoting skin regeneration, strengthening the skin barrier and supporting the repair of damaged tissue.
Hyaluronic Acid Draws and retains moisture in the skin. Delivered directly into the superficial layers, it supports deep hydration and plumpness that topical application cannot reach as effectively.
17 Essential Amino Acids The building blocks of proteins and collagen. Support skin repair, barrier integrity and overall tissue health.
Multivitamins C, E, A & B complex 10 multivitamins (C, E, A and B1, B3, B6, B7, B9, B12) essential in cell activation, collagen synthesis and strengthening the skin's immune function.
Growth Factors Signalling proteins that direct cellular activity -- supporting regeneration, tissue repair and the skin's ongoing renewal processes at a dermal level.

Recommended treatment course

The Pink Treatment is designed to work progressively. A single session delivers visible results -- skin looks brighter and more even immediately after treatment. The full benefit of the active ingredients accumulates over a structured course, and is maintained with periodic top-up sessions.

Phase 1 · Weeks 1 to 6

Initial Course

3 treatments spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart. This phase establishes the treatment response -- activating fibroblasts, initiating collagen synthesis and building the foundation for longer-term skin health improvement.

Phase 2 · Months 2 to 4

Consolidation

3 further treatments at monthly intervals. This phase deepens and consolidates the results from the initial course, supporting ongoing collagen production and ensuring the improvements in tone, texture and hydration are well established.

Phase 3 · Ongoing

Maintenance

A single session every 3 to 6 months to maintain results. The frequency of maintenance sessions can be adjusted depending on your skin's response and your goals -- your therapist will advise.

The Pink Treatment is compatible with all skin types, including sensitive, dry and post-procedure skin. It can be used alongside other skin treatments and works harmoniously with Sothys professional facials, IPL and laser treatments as part of a broader skin programme. Ask your therapist about combining treatments at your appointment.

Common questions

The mechanism is distinct from conventional skin needling. Traditional needling uses solid needles to create micro-channels and relies on topical serums absorbing through those channels afterwards. The Pink Treatment uses the Turtlepin III -- a hollow-pin device that delivers the Betterfill 56+ serum through the pins directly into the skin as the treatment is performed. What distinguishes The Pink Treatment is the serum: Betterfill 56+ contains 56 specifically selected actives including growth factors, peptides, hyaluronic acid, stem cell extract and multivitamins, formulated to actively support the skin's regeneration and repair processes as they are delivered. It is a more active approach than conventional needling alone.
The Turtlepin III 0.5mm device works at a superficial depth -- penetrating from the lower epidermis to the upper dermis -- with a gentle stamping motion. Most clients find it very comfortable -- no numbing cream is required. Sensation varies slightly depending on the area being treated and individual skin sensitivity. Your therapist will work at a pace and pressure that suits you throughout the session.
Very little. Mild redness or sensitivity in the treated area is the most common response and typically settles within a few hours. The Natural RX Post Procedure Mask applied at the end of the treatment immediately calms and soothes the skin, and most clients find they look and feel fine shortly after leaving. Most clients return to normal activities the same day.
Yes. The Pink Solution is formulated to be suitable for all skin types including sensitive, dry and post-procedure skin. The bio-cellulose post-procedure mask is specifically designed to calm and support delicate skin following treatment. If you have active skin conditions, broken skin or recent injectables, please let us know when booking so we can confirm suitability.
Yes. The Pink Treatment works harmoniously alongside other skin procedures. It pairs well with LED light therapy (which can be added during the mask phase of the same appointment), and can be used as part of a broader skin programme alongside Sothys professional facials or laser treatments. Ask your therapist about the best combination for your skin at your appointment.
Before: Arrive with clean skin. Avoid active skin infections, open wounds or very recent injectables (allow 2 weeks). Do not use retinol or strong actives for 48 hours prior. After: Avoid direct sun exposure, heat (saunas, steam, vigorous exercise) and active exfoliants for 48 to 72 hours. Daily SPF 30+ is essential. Your therapist will provide full aftercare guidance at your appointment.
The recommended course begins with 3 sessions spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart, followed by 3 sessions at monthly intervals to consolidate results. Ongoing maintenance is then 1 session every 3 to 6 months. Your therapist will advise on the most appropriate schedule for your skin and goals at your first appointment.
